How to click Flower Photographs with Mobile Phone 5 Practical Tips for Mobile Clicks of Flower Photographs

Spider Lily Flower photo taken with mobile phone
Garden care Simplified , blogging and sharing my experiences since so many year and clicking photos is one of my favorite hobbies that has become my first love!
From each new leaf, to new plants and exotic blooms to clicks of flowers from travel destinations and amazing places of beauty I have always found that mobile phone photographs are the most easiest and also can be taken as many as we want.

Upper end mobiles do have high resolution images and it is also very handy with your mobile phone to click any flower photo you want immediately. We had a digital camera but most times we forget to carry it along and mobile phones with higher resolution photo quality are best from clicking garden flower photos.

Yet after many years the old photos seem blurry, some have no subject focus, some lack clarity and some are dull. I have learned some few tips that can help you take good quality flower photos.
1) Mornings are the best time to click flower photos in your garden. Blooms become dull by afternoon as the sun rises more. Fragrant Jasmines that open during evenings are best to click at that time with partial evening glow of sunlight. You will get a heavenly white against golden glow of the indirect sun. Flash always needs to be off. Many of my flower photos look different with flash and I prefer to keep it off. In fact in bright sunlight you will get the best clicks outdoors!
2) Roses that look Awesum but most difficult to click. Take the click from an angle to get the details. Roses when clicked from a distance will not show the minute details so take photo of rose flowers from side, a bit tilted will give you a great click of rose flower.
3) During rains, after rains the best clicks , so refreshing with water droplets, another difficult thing to capture while taking flower photos with mobile phone. Keep your phone lens clean. Adjust the focus, as this gets blurry and foggy rains. It is worth if you get a little wet , but avoid umbrellas during clicking flower photos in rain.
4) the centre of the flowers, especially roses, close up, details of flowers are amazingly beautiful. you will want to click these with your mobile phone. Get the colours right by adjusting the focus . do not get too close a pictures appear blurry. Zoom a bit and then focus before clicking. Do not zoom too much as pictures come out with broken pixels.

 5) Collection of flowers, flower arrangements and vases full of flowers are such a hot interesting subject to click. Focus on the composition. Take a section of the photo to click, if you want real clarity. Add some, minus some , choose the best composition from the available image. Single flowers are easier to click as compared to group or bunches of flowers.

Sahelion Ki Baari Udaipur Rizwana Mundewadi
Mesmerizing rains all year round, as the queen loved rains so she had a garden that would keep raining water, water fountain, all year round without any electricity. Natural water fountains with mesmerizing rain dropping music.
The most beautiful part, there were sections in the Sahelion ki baari, for hot seasons and cold seasons. The queen sure was spoilt for choice!  each sector had tall trees and thick growth to keep cool during hot summers,,or low plants with open spaces to keep sun warmth during cold season.
Was awestruck with My Airavaat! he just seems to appear every place! White Marble elephant sculptures with trunks that poured beautiful sprays of water, beautiful water fountains with different pouts and different nozzles to give out natural water rain patterns.
Sentimental old nostalgic songs played at the Gulab Baug as we took the mini train joy ride in the vast palace garden.
A must visit for every plant garden lover, a real treat for a Gardener!
Meanwhile my garden is always taken care off by nature spirits, and this time with rains , excessive rains we are fully loaded with huge Allamanda flowers, chameli, mogra, roses, juhi jasmine, fire cracker, star cluster, peace lily, snow queen, red layered hibiscus and of course that yellow flower! I feel so sad to see these growing blooms that are huge and drooping over the container plants and they bear the heavy winds and rains and add up so much beauty to my garden, feeling really really blessed by the blessings of Mother Earth, the Universe has everything in abundance, you just have to tap this!

Growing Mogra Chameli from Cuttings Practical Guidelines with Photographs

Mogra Plant cuttings planted in a container
Cuttings are the easiest ways to grow some plants. Not all plants grow well from cuttings and I have found it difficult to grow many plants, especially roses, no luck for me with cuttings!Though we have had the best of roses and also quite some rare unique rose plants from other cities and exhibitions.
Beware in the garden! Hidden surprises in Garden!
Whenever you are working in the garden , do beware of unexpected surprises!
The Jai Juhi climber has taken well from cuttings.
Practical tips fro growing Jai Juhi Mogra from cuttings-
1) Never cut plant during winter or very hot afternoon in summers.
2) choose a healthy stem to cut , with more than two split stems.
3) I found that best time is just before rains.
4) See that the pot to be grown in has rich and firm soil. The soil has to be firm because other wise the birds pluck out the cuttings or they do not get good grip to grow well.
5) Reason is the stem has to be stuck in till the roots break from the base and then you see fresh lime green leaves on top.
6) do not disturb the plant cuttings for many weeks, by checking on them. Just take care to see that the stem is green and not changed colour to brown and that the stem is not rotting.
Healthy Mogra Flowers on my Plant

Roses survived even in heavy downpour of rain!

Large Sized red Layered Hibiscus flower of Lord Ganesha  in my Terrace garden

First stage after transplanting cuttings, leaves drop

leaves dropped but the stem is green means the cuttings are healthy
7) You keep some leaves on the stem when you take cuttings, the tiny leaves are great to make food for the baby plant cutting. As you will see large leaves will drop off in few days after transplantation of cuttings.
This is the most easiest way and I prefer not to add much feedings at this basic stage. What I like about this is that you can get cuttings from anyone for free and especially this plant photo here,  one is a very large sized button mogra plant that I got cuttings and planted them. The Jai Juhi climber with its  heavenly fragrance, with its climbing tendency I wanted to get another one from the large container plant so this worked for me! and especially Juhi climber grows flowers at end top tip of the climber hence the many plants the more loaded they will be!

Variegated Spider Lilly Plants Unique Leaves and Beautiful fragrant flowers

Spider Lily plants are very beautiful heavenly white and these unique leaves we had were like spider lily grass and grew into long strands emerging from centre. These variegated spider lily plants are grown form bulbs and require well draining soil.
Variegated Spider Lily Plant with bud

Variegated Spider Lily Plant flowers
Lily plants are grown from bulbs and require hardly any care. Of course save them from rats who eat up fleshy bulbs! And the caterpillars who gorge on leaves.
Apart from the ornamental beauty these variegated lily plants offer they also look very pretty with their unique designer leaves. There are white line in between the raw green leaves. It is as if an artist has made a single line on each and every leaf, God the most Awesum artist!
No special care required but I have killed a few (lol) so but here are some practical tips for growing variegated spider lily plants-
1) Indirect sunlight.
2) Well draining soil , very essential.
3) They love to grow in hanging baskets and small pots and the wide mouthed containers.
4) If the bulb seems to show signs of rot, that is yellowing of leaves,  it is better to remove the bulb and let it breathe, you will save the bulb! my practical tip!
5) Try to grow them in restricted pots and do not plant a single bulb into a very large container. Lesson learned- grow them in small pots and once they fill these pots, then shift them to one or two size larger pot . And finally if they have filled the whole container then you can grow them in very large containers.
6) Not deep but wide mouthed is the mantra for growing variegated spider lilly plants!
7) Too deep grown bulbs find it very difficult to give flowers. Bulbs are grown just a few inches below the top layer of soil.

Ajwain Oregano The Mystical herb Feng Shui wealth plant

Oregano Ajwain common name
Ajwain, Oregano herb, most loved by many as a fragrant and pungent healthy herb added to salads and as dressings for dishes, is also one of the Awesum wealth cure plants in Feng Shuii!
the Ajwain plant is grown very easily from cuttings and it spreads fast like wild as garden borders and loves hanging baskets.
In Feng Shuii this oregano plant is considered very auspicious. Not only for its unique rounded beautiful shaped leaves but also its fragrance refreshes the sinuses and clears the mind.
The round shaped leaves of Ajwain are corresponding to the feng shuii element metal according to the five elements theory and symbolism. Metal element is strong to attract wealth and money luck and as coins are round in shape and metal element can be easily activated with Chinese goodluck coins , this plant with its beautiful round shaped leaves is of similar feng shuii energy.
The shape corresponding to the element metal is round, circular, and plants with rounded leaves are used as feng shuii cures to attract wealth and money luck.
Grow them in your feng shuii wealth sector, they do not require much care and are proven great feng shuii money luck cures,  see the magic of feng shuii !!!

Button roses and special care for Button rose bushes and my Large sized Drooping Roses in rain!

While I have had lots and lots of Rose bushes of different varieties over the years and even special unique ones bought form exhibitions that have given us beautiful rose flowers, I had avoided the tiny button roses.  Size matters, and since the environment on our terrace garden his best suited for roses, we always would choose and grow large sized roses.

Button Roses Garden Care Simplified

Button roses yellowing of leaves

Button roses, tiny roses and small beautiful bunches of Joy!
Button roses require some what different care than the big rose bushes. They grow beautifully into bunches of flowers and look pretty like tiny buttons of pink!
Button roses are Awesum in fragrances and their raw fresh fragrance is out of this world! Of course my other roses also have fantastic fragrance and these are heightened in fresh rose buds opening in the early mornings, you must try smell  the roses  after sunrise, the experience will refresh your mind body and spirit!
So I added button roses, and then after the session of blooming the leaves started to yellow and drop off. There were so many flowers, it was not possible to trim the plant at this time. I realized that the plant was struggling to maintain health due to less exposure to sunlight. Trimming and dead heading of flowers is very important.
Then due to heavy rains most button rose flowers rotted and the whole plant was covered with soggy petals. Chances are, here the plant health can be compromised in such situations where the outside atmosphere is dark and cloudy.
Next time, I was prepared, my special tip! Cut some flowers( I avoided cutting flowers, but in special cases  it is essential, especially in rains the flower remains for longer time indoors) Cutting some flowers helped me to add some freshness indoors as well as save the remaining flowers on plant that grew healthy and stayed for  longer time.
Button Rose bushes care-
1) Button rose plants  will need indirect sunlight.
2) Egg shells work for all roses as great feedings.
3) They will grow stems that will spread into many tiny stems and load with many buds.
4) Dead heading is important after blooming as these tiny button roses dry off and they cover most of the plant preventing  the leaves from getting sunlight.

5) Button roses grow in plenty, large numbers in healthy plant and hence they require rich soil and well  sized pots.
